How to Install gperf software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gperf software package provides Perfect hash function generator, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gperf

gperf is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gperf package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gperf *

You will get with gperf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
